In this lesson, children will be able to identify and name plane shapes, such as circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles. Students will be able to create and build with shapes, using them to make simple patterns and designs. Students will be able to recognize and describe the shapes they see in their environment, such as the shapes of buildings, signs, and natural objects. Students will be able to use shapes to create pictures and representations of objects and ideas.
