By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. explore the concept of how humans see objects;
  2. identify that light travels in straight lines;
  3. recognize that light can change direction when reflected from an object;
  4. draw simple ray diagrams to explain how light travels in straight lines from a light source to an object and is then reflected to the eye.
