What Plants Need to Grow

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

1. Recognize and list the basic needs of plants, such as water, sunlight, air, and nutrients from soil.
2. Understand that sunlight is essential for plants to make their own food through photosynthesis
3. Learn about the importance of water for plants, including how it is absorbed through roots and transported to other parts of the plant.
