Recognise and Name 2D Shapes

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

• identify and name plane shapes, such as circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles.
• create and build with shapes, using them to make simple patterns and designs.
• recognize and describe the shapes they see in their environment, such as the shapes of buildings, signs, and natural objects.
• use shapes to create pictures and representations of objects and ideas.
