Count in 2s

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

1. Explore counting both forwards and backwards in 2s.
2. Know and understand the language of multiplication, for example, “There are 5 equal groups of 2. There are 10 altogether.”

This unit allows children to practice skip counting by 2s as a precursor to multiplication, helping students become familiar with the concept of repeated addition.
