Nets and Surface Area
of Prisms and Pyramids

By the end of this unit, students will:

1. Understand the concept of nets as 2D representations of 3D shapes.
2. Identify and create nets for various prisms and pyramids.
3. Calculate the surface area of prisms and pyramids using appropriate methods.
