Tangents to a Circle

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

1. understand the properties of tangents to a circle and their relationships with radii and angles;
2. apply theorems involving tangents to solve problems and analyze geometric configurations;
3. recognize scenarios where tangent properties are useful and apply them appropriately.

• Identify and apply circle definitions and properties, including: centre, radius, chord, diameter, circumference, tangent, arc, sector and segment
