By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
- clearly understand and explain the process of asexual reproduction in plants;
- define asexual reproduction and understand that asexual reproduction involves only one parent;
- identify various plants that reproduce asexually, such as daffodils, onions, and potatoes;
- understand that asexual reproduction can occur with only one parent and results in offspring that are identical to the parent.
