Description

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

Understand the concept of fractions and their relationship to parts of a whole.
Add fractions with the same denominator by combining their numerators.
Simplify or reduce fractions when necessary.
Apply the concept of adding fractions with the same denominator to solve real-life and mathematical problems.
