Area and Circumference of a Circle

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

1. understand the formulas for calculating the area and circumference of a circle;
2. apply the formulas to calculate the area and circumference of circles of different sizes;
3. solve problems involving the area and circumference of circles and their applications.
