By the end of this unit, students will:
- Understand the concepts of area and perimeter and their significance in geometry.
- Calculate the area and perimeter of parallelograms and trapezoids using appropriate formulas.
- Apply the knowledge of area and perimeter to solve real-world problems and analyze shapes.
