Description
By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
- Understand the concept of perimeter as the total distance around a shape.
- Identify and measure the sides of different shapes to calculate their perimeter.
- Use addition to find the sum of the lengths of all sides of a shape to determine its perimeter.
- Apply the concept of perimeter to solve real-life and mathematical problems.
