By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. count forward and backward in multiples of 50 and 100;
  2. recognize the pattern in the sequence of numbers when counting in multiples of 50 and 100;
  3. understand that counting in multiples of 50 and 100 is the same as skip-counting by 50 and 100;
  4. apply the concept of counting in multiples of 50 and 100 in solving real-life and mathematical problems.
