Counting Sides in 2D Shapes

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

1. Recognize and identify common 2D shapes (e.g. square, triangle, rectangle, circle).
2. Count and identify the number of sides in various 2D shapes.
3. Differentiate between shapes based on the count of their sides.
4. Group and classify shapes based on the number of sides.
5. Identify shapes with equal sides (e.g. squares, equilateral triangles).
6. Solve real-life problems involving counting sides in 2D shapes.
