Description

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Understand the relationship between decimals and fractions.
  2. Convert decimals to their equivalent fractions accurately.
  3. Recognize patterns and relationships between decimals and fractions.
  4. Apply decimal to fraction conversion skills to solve real-life and mathematical problems.

Year 4 Number: Number – fractions (including decimals)

  • Recognise and write decimal equivalents of any number of tenths or hundreds
  • Recognise and write decimal equivalents to 1/4 1/2 3/4
