Equivalent Ratios

Description

By the end of this unit, students will:

understand that ratio shows the relationship between two values and can describe how one relates to the other;
understand the colon notation as the ratio symbol;
find equivalent ratios by dividing or multiplying by the same number.

relate the language of ratios and the associated calculations to the arithmetic of fractions and to linear functions
