By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
understand and apply the multiplication grid method to solve multiplication problems involving two-digit numbers by one-digit numbers;
break down a multiplication problem into partial products using a grid format;
perform multi-digit multiplication using the multiplication grid method and combine partial products to find the final answer;
apply the multiplication grid method to solve real-world and mathematical problems.
