By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Use their knowledge of 2D and 3D shapes to identify three-dimensional shapes from their nets.
  2. Recognize that a net is a two-dimensional figure that can be folded to create a three-dimensional shape.
  3. Use measuring tools and conventional markings to draw nets of 3d shapes accurately.
