Description
By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
- understand the effect of mixing acid and alkali and the chemical reaction that occur as a result;
- learn how to neutralise the effect of acids and alkali.

KS3 Science: Chemical Reactions
- learn about defining acids and alkalis in terms of neutralisation reactions;
- understand reactions of acids with alkalis to produce a salt plus water.
