Description

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Arrange numbers in ascending (smallest to largest) and descending (largest to smallest) order.
  2. Order sets of numbers that include whole numbers up to 10,000.
  3. Demonstrate a deep understanding of place value and its role in ordering numbers.
  4. Recognize that the value of each digit in a number determines its position.
  5. Use a number line to visualize and practice ordering numbers.
  6. Understand that the order of numbers on a number line reflects their magnitudes.
