Number Bonds to 10

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

1. Understand that number bonds represent the relationship between numbers that add up to a given total (in this case, 10).
2. Use number bonds to solve addition and subtraction problems involving 10.

• Represent and use number bonds and related subtraction facts within 20 (Year 1)
• Recall and use addition and subtraction facts to 20 fluently, and derive and use related facts up to 100
