Plants Adaptations

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

1. identify how specific plant adaptations, such as longer roots and larger stems, help plants survive in desert environments.
2. understand how certain features like thick stems for water storage and deep root systems for water absorption are advantageous in dry habitats.
