By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Explore different types of triangles.
  2. Identify examples and non-examples of triangles to help them summarise the characteristics of a triangle: a closed, 2-D shape with three straight sides.
  3. Recognize the properties of different types of triangles.
