By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Understand angles as a measure of rotation or the amount of turning between two lines.
  2. Recognize angles as fractions of a full turn (360 degrees).
  3. Relate different types of angles (acute, right, obtuse, straight) to the idea of turning.
  4. Apply the concept of angles as turns to solve real-life and mathematical problems.

  • Identify acute and obtuse angles and compare and order angles up to 2 right angles by size
