By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Understand the concept of capacity as the amount of liquid a container can hold.
  2. Identify and use appropriate units of measurement for capacity, such as liters and milliliters.
  3. Compare and convert between different units of capacity.
  4. Apply the concept of capacity to solve real-life and mathematical problems.

  • Convert between different units of measure [for example, kilometre to metre; hour to minute].
