Upper and Lower Bounds

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

1. understand the concepts of upper and lower bounds and their application in dealing with uncertainties;
2. estimate the range of possible values within which a measurement or calculation lies;
3. apply their understanding to solve problems involving bounds.
