Understand the concept of arrays as a way to organize objects or numbers into rows and columns.
Create and represent arrays for given numbers using objects and drawings.
Apply arrays to solve multiplication and division problems.
Recognize the relationship between the number of rows and columns in an array and the multiplication or division operation.
Develop mental math skills by visualizing arrays to solve problems.
National Curriculum Objectives
Year 2 Number: Multiplication and division
