Drawing 2D Shapes
Students will use their knowledge of shapes to accurately draw 2D figures, ensuring correct vertices and faces; as well as explore multiple ways to draw shapes, enhancing their understanding of geometry.
Description
By the end of this unit, students will:
- use their knowledge of properties of shapes to draw 2d shapes accurately;
- use their knowledge of vertices and faces to ensure that their drawings are accurate;
- and recognise that there is more than one way to draw a shape.

Year 3 Geometry: Properties of shapes
- Identify horizontal and vertical lines and pairs of perpendicular and parallel lines.
