exploring patterns
In this lesson, children will be able to identify and create simple patterns using objects, pictures, and sounds. Students will be able to continue and extend patterns by predicting what comes next in a pattern sequence. Students will be able to sort and classify objects by their attributes, such as color, shape, and size. Students will be able to recognise and create patterns using different types of materials, such as blocks, beads, and stickers. Students will be able to use mathematical language to describe and communicate patterns, such as "repeating," "alternating," and "growing." Students will be able to use patterns to solve simple problems and puzzles.
