Inheritance and Variations

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Understand the concept of inheritance and how traits are passed from parents to offspring.
  2. Identify and define key terms related to genetics, such as genotype, phenotype, allele, and gene.
  3. Describe the role of DNA in determining an organism’s traits.
