Asexual Reproduction in Plants

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

• clearly understand and explain the process of asexual reproduction in plants;
• define asexual reproduction and understand that asexual reproduction involves only one parent;
• identify various plants that reproduce asexually, such as daffodils, onions, and potatoes;
• understand that asexual reproduction can occur with only one parent and results in offspring that are identical to the parent.
