identifying and representing numbers using objects and pictorial representations including the number line;
using the language of: equal to, more than, less than (fewer), most, least; and
given a number, they can also identify one more and one less.
This lesson follows the National curriculum requirement for year 1 mathematics.
Teachers can use the lesson for whole-class teaching and learners can also use it at home.
