Nets and Surface Area Year 8 Digital Learning

This is an interactive maths lesson on nets and surface area for learners in year 8. In this lesson, learners will be able to:

• recap their knowledge of 2d shapes with regards to their properties;
• draw nets of cubes and cuboids and from the nets, calculate total surface area; and
• recall prisms, draw their nets and calculate total surface area.

Teachers can use the lesson for whole-class teaching and learners can also use it at home.
