Place Value Year 1 Digital Activities



This is an interactive year 1 maths lesson on place value. In this lesson, learners will be able to:

  • identify and represent numbers using objects and pictorial representations including the number line:

  • use the language of: equal to, more than, less than (fewer), most, least.

  • read and write numbers to 100 in numerals

They will also be able to read and write numbers from 1 to 20 in numerals and words

This lesson follows the National curriculum requirement for year 1 mathematics.

Based on the White Rose hub Year 1 mastery and greater depth document.

Teachers can use the lesson for whole-class teaching and learners can also use it at home.
There are lots of drag-and-drop activities with instant feedback.
