By the end of this unit, year 3 children will learn how to add and subtract numbers multiples of 100 using number lines and pictorial representations.
Description
By the end of this unit, children will be able to:
- Subtract two fractions with like denominators (common denominators) accurately and efficiently.
- Use folding paper strips and transfer this knowledge to using diagrams and bar models
- Explore all the
different structures of subtraction: taking away, partitioning
and difference.
