By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Understand the concept of length as the measurement of distance between two points.
  2. Identify and use appropriate units of measurement for lengths, such as centimeters, meters, and kilometers.
  3. Convert between different units of length.
  4. Apply the concept of length to solve real-life and mathematical problems.

  • Convert between different units of measure [for example, kilometre to metre; hour to minute].
