Vertebrates and Invertebrates

Description

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

identify and describe features of vertebrates and invertebrates;
use the term ‘vertebrates’ and ‘invertebrates’ to describe animals with and without spine;
identify and name familiar animals from insect, spider and soft-bodied invertebrate groups;
group animals based on easily identifiable features.
