By the end of this unit, children will be able to:
- Recap the relationships between a year, a month, a week and a day from previous learning
- Explore how a year can be represented on a calendar, which shows the number of days in each month.
- Use multiplicative reasoning and related number facts to convert and compare the different units of time.
- Recognise how often a leap year occurs and be able to calculate future leap years.
- Recognise that there are approximately 4 weeks in a month, although most months are slightly longer than this.

- Solve problems involving converting from hours to minutes, minutes to seconds, years to months, weeks to days.
