2D Shapes

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Identify and name common 2D shapes, including polygons and non-polygons.
  2. Understand the properties of different 2D shapes, such as the number of sides and angles.
  3. Classify and sort 2D shapes based on their properties.
  4. Recognize the presence of 2D shapes in the environment and everyday objects.
