By the end of this unit, children will be able to:
- Count forward and backward in multiples of 6 up to 1000.
- Develop fluency in counting by 6s.
- Use a number line to visualize and practice counting in multiples of 6.
- Identify the positions of multiples of 6 on a number line.
- Apply counting in multiples of 6 to solve real-life problems involving groups or sets of objects.
- Use counting by 6s to find the total number of items or calculate quantities.

- Count in multiples of 6, 7, 9, 25 and 1,000.
- Find 1,000 more or less than a given number.
- Count backwards through 0 to include negative numbers.
