Making Doubles

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

  1. Understand the concept of doubling by recognizing and creating pairs of objects.
  2. Use visual aids, such as manipulatives and drawings, to understand the concept of doubling and practice making doubles.

  • Solve one-step problems involving multiplication and division, by calculating the answer using concrete objects, pictorial representations, and arrays.
