Converting Between Units of Measurement KS2

This completely interactive lesson on converting between units of measurement will give KS2 learners in year 5 ample opportunities to convert between different measurement units and choose the appropriate unit for measurement.

In this lesson, learners will be able to:

• solve problems involving the calculation and conversion of units of measurement; and

• use, read, write and convert between units of length, mass and volume.

They will also be able to convert between miles and kilometres.

This lesson follows the National curriculum requirement for year 5 mathematics
