Trial and Improvement

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. understand the trial and improvement method and its applications in problem-solving;
  2. apply trial and improvement to solve equations or problems with approximate solutions;
  3. analyze the accuracy and limitations of trial and improvement.
