Adding Equal Groups

By the end of this unit, children will be able to:

• Use their knowledge from previous learning of recognising equal groups to now add equal groups together to find a total.
• Focus on counting equal groups of 2, 5, and 10 and explore this within 50.
• identify and record the number sentence to match the groups
• Record number sentences as repeated additions.
