Quadratic Formula​ — Interactive Lesson (Ages 14–16)

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

1. understand the quadratic formula and its application in solving quadratic equations;
2. apply the quadratic formula to find real and complex solutions for quadratic equations;
3. interpret and analyze solutions in the context of real-world problems.

• Solve quadratic equations {including those that require rearrangement} algebraically by factorising, {by completing the square and by using the quadratic formula}; find approximate solutions using a graph
