By the end of this unit, children will:
- understand that sight is one of the five senses and describe its basic function;
- understand how the eye detects objects and how this information is sent to the brain;
- recognize the importance of sight in everyday activities, such as seeing and identifying objects or environments;
- identify similarities and differences between eyes and the eyes of others
